Welcome to Kalamunda Aeronautical Model Society (KAMS)

The core goal of KAMS is to simply foster all forms of aeromodelling.

We have facilities that are second to none! Starting with our huge mown grass field — we also have a Canteen, 2 Shaded Pits areas, Shaded spectator area & on-site model storage!

Our members fly anything from small electric aircraft, gliders, scale model warbirds, big aerobatic machines, helicopters to large gas turbine jets and anything in between.

Our 300m height clearance allows you to test the limits of your vision chasing those elusive thermals…

The field is open seven days a week but is especially busy on weekends, usually from 8am, when many members will be in attendance flying or show off their latest model, share their experience, or assist and encourage newcomers.

We host a number of special interest days throughout the year when particular specialised models hold centre stage — Jets, Helicopters, Scale Warbirds, F3B Glider competitions & more!

Visitors are always welcome to come to the field to see what this exciting hobby has to offer!
